Committee Effectiveness Training and Co-Chair Training is conducted several times a year in a central location for new or prospective members of existing labor management committees. Training can be tailored to meet specific needs of your organization. Training is on-going during the six-month facilitation period.

LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES

Council staff assists members in starting labor management committees. Assistance includes exploratory meetings to determine interest, minimum of six hours of training for committee members, and facilitation services for at least six months; provides technical assistance to establish on-site labor management committees; assists organizations which have labor management partnerships in place that request help in revitalizing their committees; serves as a reference center to area business and labor organizations; and serves as a resource for interested parties to learn more about cooperative programs, and present information regarding labor management partnerships to interested companies and unions.
